Scotland's First Island in the Highlands, is easily accessible from Glasgow or
Prestwick airports, with good rail links.
The main car/passenger ferry crossing from Wemyss Bay takes around 30 minutes.
Alternatively, drive, via Loch Lomond and the Rest & be Thankful, to Colintraive, and take the 5 minute ferry crossing at the north end of the island.
Despite its proximity to the Scottish
mainland, it is an oasis of peace and
tranquillity, with the easy going pace of
island life.
