Benny Gallagher (of Gallagher & Lyle) An intimate evening of songs & stories, from his days as a staff writer with Apple, the Beatles Publishing Company, to the present day. Benny was born in Largs, just across the water. He will perform from the hit songs he wrote for McGuiness Flint, Gallagher & Lyle, Don Williams, Simon & Garfunkel, Garth Brooks, Mary Hopkin, Phil Everly, Rick Nelson & Ringo Starr, plus his more recent songs. Supported by: Swing Guitars featuring Jimmy Moon Tom & Tam, Scotland’s pre-eminent guitar duo, are joined by the legendary Jimmy Moon on bass. |
